【摘要】:Useofthisguideisintendedtoprovideinformationonelectrochemicalnoisetomonitorcorrosiononacontinuousbasis.Thisguideisintendedforconductingelectrochemicalnoisemeasurements,bothinthelaboratoryandin-serviceenvironments(36).Thistechniqueisusefulinsystemsinwhichprocessupsetsorotherproblemscancreatecorrosiveconditions.Anearlywarningofcorrosiveattackcanpermitremedialactionbeforesignificantdamageoccurstoprocessequipment(37).Thistechniqueisalsousefulwheninhibitoradditionsareusedtocontrolthecorrosionofequipment.Theindicationofincreasingcorrosionactivitycanbeusedtosignaltheneedforadditionalinhibitor(38).Controlofcorrosioninprocessequipmentrequiresknowledgeoftherateormechanismofattackonanongoingbasis.Thistechniquecanbeusedtoprovidesuchinformationinadigitalformatthatiseasilytransferredtocomputersforanalysis(39).1.1Thisguidecoverstheprocedureforconductingonlinecorrosionmonitoringofmetalsbytheuseoftheelectrochemicalnoisetechnique.Withinthelimitationsdescribed,thistechniquecanbeusedtodetectlocalizedcorrosionactivityandtoestimatecorrosionrateonacontinuousbasiswithoutremovalofthemonitoringprobesfromtheplantorexperimentalcell.1.2Thisguidepresentsbrieflysomegenerallyacceptedmethodsofanalysesthatareusefulintheinterpretationofcorrosiontestresults.1.3Thisguidedoesnotcoverdetailedcalculationsandmethods;ratheritcoversarangeofapproachesthathavefoundapplicationincorrosiontesting.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
