【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitablefordeterminingtheconcentrationsofknownimpuritiesinfinishedbenzeneandforuseasanintegralqualitycontroltoolwherebenzeneiseitherproducedorusedinamanufacturingprocedure.Itisgenerallyappliedtoimpuritiessuchasnonaromaticscontainingninecarbonsorless,toluene,C8aromatics,and1,4-dioxane.Absolutepuritycannotbedeterminedifunknownimpuritiesarepresent.TestMethodD852isgenerallyusedasacriteriafordeterminingtheabsolutepurity.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofnormallyoccurringtraceimpuritiesin,andthepurityof,finishedbenzenebygaschromatography.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableforbenzenepuritiesof99.80weight%orhigher.1.3Thelowerlimitfordetectionfornon-aromaticimpuritiesis50mg/kg.Thelowerlimitofdetectionforindividualaromatichydrocarbonimpurities10mg/kg.Thelowerlimitofdetectionfor1,4-dioxaneis5mg/kg.1.4Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications,resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththeroundingoffmethodofPracticeE29.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection8.
