【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforcastorforgedsteelcheckvalveswithflangedorbutt-weldingendsofthefollowingtypes:a)swing,forverticalorhorizontalflow(seeFigure1);b)lift:i)pistontype,forangleorhorizontalflow(seeFigure2);ii)balltype,forangleorhorizontalflow(seeFigure3);iii)balltype,forverticalflow(seeFigure4);iv)disktype,forverticalflow(seeFigure5).Theterms“vertical”,“horizontal”and“angle”relatetotheaxesofthebodyends.Whenswingcheckvalvesareusedinverticallinestheflowmustbeinanupwarddirection.Forthepurposesofthisstandardanylinewithaslope(upwardordownward)of5°orlessisdeemedtobehorizontal.Inthecaseofanglepatternvalvestheinletshouldbevertical.
